Renata Berkyová works at the Institute of Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences and is a PhD student of social history at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. She researches the wartime and postwar history of the Roma, the Holocaust of the Roma and Sinti and its perception, the politics of memory, and anti-Romani attitudes in society.
