Nóra Köves was a Democracy programme coordinator for the region of Hungary and Croatia. Previously she worked as a human rights expert for several national and international NGOs in Hungary and other countries (USA, France, Kosovo, Turkey, Lebanon), working mainly with refugee and migrant people, where she has acquired special knowledge in the field of human rights protection. Until 2018 she worked as a human rights expert for Eötvös Károly Policy Institute, a Hungarian legal think tank fighting for fundamental rights and constitutional democracy.
