Klára Pleskačová coordinates in Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Prague the Ecology programme. She started gaining professional experience while still studying for a degree in Waste Management and Technology at the Mendel University in Brno. She worked with the local water management companies BVK and VAS and participated in the project development at the Institute of Circular Economy in Prague. She implemented projects focused on composting and environmental education in Uganda, Cambodia and Ukraine.
Before joining Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Prague, she worked at UNICEF Ethiopia in Addis Ababa as a WASH Officer (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), where she was mainly involved in strategic conflict prevention through functional water schemes and management.
