Oldřich Sklenář is an analyst at the Association for International Affairs, where he is a member of the climate team. He primarily focuses on energy issues and greenhouse gas emissions.
He studied Energy and Process Engineering at Brno University of Technology and Environmental Studies at Masaryk University. He also completed a study stay at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
He began his professional career as a designer in the energy sector. He later worked for several organizations, including NGOs, focusing on the development of renewable energy sources and energy management. He has spent the largest part of his career as a manager in the development and production of electrical machines. In addition to his work at the Association for International Affairs, he is also active as a consultant within the Fakta o klimatu project.
