Burtejin Zorigt

Burtejin Zorigt is a Programme Manager at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Prague, where she oversees the foundation's Democracy and Human Rights program in Hungary. She also works as a freelance gender equality expert, focusing on women's rights. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the Central European University.

Before joining Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Prague, she served as a Researcher on the EU-funded ERC CIVILSPACE project, analyzing the shrinking legal space for civil society organizations in EU member states. Previously, she held various research and project-management roles at Eötvös Loránd University, the Hungarian Women’s Lobby, Amnesty International Hungary, and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She has also taught at Uppsala University in Sweden and Yangon University in Myanmar.
