Job Vacancy - FINANCE COORDINATOR

The Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Prague office is welcoming applications for the open position Finance coordinator as of 1 July 2020. The deadline for applications is Sunday, 17 May 2020.

We are a Green Think Tank and an International Policy Network with partner projects in around 60 countries and more than 30 offices around the world. We place particular emphasis on gender democracy, meaning social emancipation and equal rights for women and men.

The Prague office of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung is a regional office, responsible for activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Croatia. We are looking for a self-driven and experienced individual to fill the position of Finance Coordinator who will report to the Head of Office.

Responsibilities:

Among others, the role will:

• Provide leadership for financial administration.
• Safeguard the integrity of finance processes and organisational assets.
• Provide the accounting of the office.
• Support programme budgeting and monitoring.
• Prepare various financial reports as per the organisational formats.
• Manage payroll and submission of relevant statutory.
• Support project partners in budgets and capacity building and ensure financial processes and policies of the organisation are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance or related or related qualification; 
• minimum five years of professional experience in the areas of financial administration, accounting, processing and project management;
• oral and written fluency of Czech; oral and written fluency in German or English;
  
  Good knowledge of two foreign languages is an advantage.
• experience from the international/ civil society sector is of advantage;
• strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
• solution-oriented and good team player;
• gender awareness and a genuine interest in the values and mission of the Heinrich Böll Stiftung.
