The Heinrich Böll Foundation, the Green European Foundation (GEF), the Ecopolis Foundation and the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) cordially invite you to apply for the Congress of Young Europeans in Budapest.
At the four-day Congress, selected participants from all over Europe will have a chance to come together in this culturally diverse and politically charged Central-European capital and discuss their visions of the future of Europe.
The Budapest Congress will be organized around the idea and theme of “CONTEMPORARY SPACE”: your understanding of and role in virtual, social, cultural, and all kinds of public spaces in Europe which is being re-defined the very moment you are reading this text.
The thematic priorities of the Budapest Congress entitled “(Re)Claim Your Space in Europe” are:
- freedoms, rights and liabilities in the digital age,
- urban future and
- education for the future – the future of education
Additionally, a special focus will be on the current developments in Ukraine and its implications for Europe.

The organizers will cover the travel costs and accommodation for all selected participants of the Budapest Congress of Young Europeans. The number of spots is limited to 60 participants. Application deadline is 8 May 2015!
